What would be your first instinct if you had a threat lurking around you? Are you impulsive in your self-defense, or do you have a strategy?

Well, one mammal has it all figured out.

I feel like God really played in our faces making Kangaroos. They’re so strong, buff, with big ass claws and angry at the world. What’s the purpose bro?? https://t.co/2Jv8V4i87b

While ranking the strongest animal, one would barely include a Kangaroo on the list. But several videos have surfaced that shed new light on these buff creatures over the years.

Ever since then, the enigmatic mammals have never failed to amaze with their weird antics and have owned the internet.

In a recent viral video, a man was seen recording a Kangaroo trying to drown his dog. When the man confronts the Kangaroo, it attacks back. This raised speculations that it was the Kangaroo’s strategy to lure any predators/threats into the waterbody and then drown them. This, in fact, is true. Kangaroos use this tactic only to protect themselves and not to harm anything intentionally.

Do Kangaroos Drown Dogs?

Fact: Yes! The kangaroos can drown dogs. But there is a context behind these attacks. As per researchers, kangaroos apply a defense mechanism to protect themselves from possible threats.

Contrary to popular belief, kangaroos are not hostile mammals. If these animals ever took a personality test, kangaroos would probably fall under the INTJ or INFJ. They are tactical and intellectual, love their personal space, and would only retaliate when someone encroaches on their space.

According to kangaroo ecologist Graeme Coulson from the University of Melbourne–

“There’s a very strong instinct — kangaroos will go to water if they’re threatened by a predator.”

Did the Man Save the Dog from Being Drowned by a Kangaroo?

As shown in the video, the Kangaroo is seen drowning the dog. The video went viral, leading netizens to believe that kangaroos are vile animals.

The researchers inferred that the giant male kangaroos are capable of luring the predators into the water and are strong enough to drown them. Coulson commented that–

“In the case of a big male (Kangaroo), they can definitely drown dogs. If the dog swims out to them, they’ve got strong arms and big claws, and they can drown [the dog].”

The internet was mind-blown by how buff kangaroos protect themselves.

This has me CACKLING. From that kangaroo being buff af, to that phone going underwater, to him being posted up once the camera came back on… 😂🤣😂🤣😂 https://t.co/VpQ8u0KkpN

i think the funniest thing about kangaroos is they don’t even eat meat. Like why are they so buff and violent, but don’t even eat what they kill 😭

What is your take on buff kangaroos? Do you think kangaroos are hostile or just defensive?

Do you believe the owner was wrong to leave his dog wandering off and chasing the Kangaroo? Let us know in the comments section below.
