Jenee’ Ryan spends her evenings anchoring CBS2 News and her mornings drinking coffee and spending time with her ever-developing baby girl. She is also married to a wonderful man (who, upon moving to the Treasure Valley, was told is still quite famous among hardcore Vandal fans). A German Shepard aptly named ‘Big Boi’ and the feline queen of the house, Bonnie, round out the bunch.
Jenee’ comes to KBOI with 10 years of experience in broadcast news, previously working in Reno, Nev., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Bismarck, N.D., and Lewiston. She’s reported on wildfires, floods, tornados, riots, unsolved murders, kidnappings, revolutionary medical advances, the many impacts of COVID, how legal prostitutes struggled to financially survive during the pandemic, the lack of mental health care, and, on lighter days, tattoos, cakes, and goat yoga.
Idaho always seems to pull her back. She grew up in the Panhandle, left, returned for college at the University of Idaho (Go Vandals!), left, returned for her stint at KLEW in Moscow/Lewiston, left, and is now back, making the Treasure Valley her home.
