Kevin-Prince Boateng is a German professional footballer. He is a midfielder or forward for 2. Bundesliga club Hertha BSC. He has also played for Hertha BSC II, Tottenham Hotspur, Borussia Dortmund, Portsmouth, Genoa, AC Milan, Schalke, Las Palmas, Eintracht Frankfurt, Sassuolo, Barcelona, Fiorentina, Beşiktaş, and Monza. Kevin-Prince represented Germany at youth level, but chose to play for Ghana at senior level. He also played for both internationally. He is nicknamed “Prince.”

Kevin-Prince was born in Berlin, West Germany, now Germany, to a Ghanaian father, Prince Boateng, and a German mother, Christine Rahn. His paternal half-brother is footballer Jérôme Boateng. His uncle, Yaw Boateng Gyan, was the National Organizer of the NDC (National Democratic Congress) in Ghana. Kevin-Prince’s maternal grandfather was a first cousin of professional footballer Helmut Rahn.

Kevin-Prince has a son with his former wife Jenny; and a son with his former wife, Italian actress and television personality Melissa Satta.
