- Pizzuti was born in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, to Italian immigrant and real estate developer Don Pizzuti.
- She and her three older sisters were taught their father’s business as they grew up, and it was expected that she would work for his company and not move far from home.
- She received her undergraduate degree from Babson College. At the age of 26, she achieved a Master’s degree in real estate development from MIT.
Marriage to John Henry :
- In 2008, Pizzuti met John Henry, who owned the Boston Red Sox team at the time and later would purchase the Liverpool Football Club as well. He was immediately smitten with her, and they began to date.
- She was cautious at first because Henry was nearly twice her age. Her family disapproved of the relationship, and she worried about negative publicity and rumors surrounding them.
- Eventually, she decided to continue the relationship in spite of this, and they were married in 2009.
- The couple are now parents to two children – A daughter Sienna Henry & one son.
Professional Career, Salary and Net Worth :
- Pizzuti was more involved in her husband’s sports empire than the public expected her to be. She was responsible for the creation of two Emmy-nominated television shows on NESN, a regional sports network, as well as Fenway Farms, a rooftop garden that produces much of the food served in Fenway Park’s EMC club.
- Linda also used her real estate background to negotiate land deals that were necessary to expand Anfield stadium in Liverpool.
- In 2013, her husband bought The Boston Globe and named her managing director. Her credentials were questioned at first, but she gained significance in the company over time as she was more directly involved with the newspaper than her husband.
- From there, she expanded the Globe’s reach by starting GlobeDocs, a documentary film festival, and HUBweek, an ideas festival that celebrates industrial and cultural institutions in Boston.
- Pizzuti now leads several charitable foundations and startup-focused investment funds in and around Boston.

- Pizzuti was also responsible for the creation of the Red Sox mascot Tessie, who is the “little sister” of Wally, their preexisting mascot.
